The Council

Colton Parish Council has seats for 7 members. Elections are held every 4 years. No Chairman or Vice Chairman was elected at the Annual Meeting in May 2022. A councillor will be appointed each meeting to chair.

The Council usually meets on the first Wednesday of the month (except in August) at 7 or 7.30 pm in the Village Hall (but subject to change). All meetings are open to the general public and, at the start of each meeting, time is allowed for members of the public to raise any matters they have a concern about. Members of the public can stay for as short or as long a time as they wish.

If you cannot attend a Parish Council meeting but wish to express an opinion or raise a matter you can do so by sending an e-mail to the Clerk to the Council or by contacting any of the Councillors.
