Colton Parish Council has 7 members.  Elections are held every 4 years.  6 of the current members were elected in May 2007 and 1 was co-opted by the Council in October 2007.

The Council usually meets on the second Thursday of the month (except in August) at 7.00 pm in the Village Hall (subject to change).  All meetings are open to the general public and at the start of each meeting time is allowed for members of the public to raise any matters they have a concern about.  Members of the public can stay for as short or as long a time as they wish. 

The dates of the meetings from June 2010 - May 2011 have been set as follows.

The next meeting of the Council will take place in the Bellamour Room at the Village Hall on 10th June at 7:00 p.m.  All members of the public are entitled to attend.
