The Friendship Club is an informal meeting and any person is welcome to come along to our meetings and take part in as few or as many of the activities as you feel comfortable with. We meet in the Village Hall, usually on the Third Wednesday of the month between 10.30 am and noon. Some people drop in for a few minutes to have a chat and a cup of coffee; others stay for the whole time. There is usually a gentle exercise session organised by Age Concern but there is no compulsion to take part. We also have a Bring and Buy table and a Raffle. On most occasions there is a representative from Age Concern who is able to answer any queries and to make Home appointments. All ages are welcome and, if necessary transport can be arranged by contacting Judy Winter on 01889 583517. |

The Colton Garden Guild meets in the Village Hall on the First Thursday of each month. It is an informal meeting for all who have an interest in gardening and gardening topics. As well as the social aspect there is usually a visiting speaker and a wide range of garden related topics are covered. There are outings and other social events arranged and all this for an Annual membership fee of £4. For further and more detailed information contact the Secretary. |

| The Colton Women's Institute meets monthly at the home of one of the members. The usual date for meetings is the second Wednesday of the month. There is usually a visiting speaker or a special activity and always time for a cuppa and a chat. Meetings are quite informal and new members are always welcome to 'come along and try us'. |

| Colton Ramblers have a monthly walk on the Third Sunday of the month. It starts at the Burial Ground car park near to the Church at 9.30 am and walkers take a packed lunch with them. Details can be obtained from Gwen Johnson (01889 586469). There is also an Annual 'Week-end away' for a series of walks somewhere in Britain. Annual membership is currently £1.50 |
