On Sunday afternoon, 10th November 2002 a team of six ringers from the Lichfield and Walsall Archdeaconry Society of Change-Ringers successfully completed the FIRST FULL PEAL to be rung on Colton's Bells. Prior to the installation of the 2 millennium bells it was impossible to do serious change-ringing on just 4 bells. In a Full Peal there are 5,040 changes and they were rung in 7 surprise minor methods. The whole ring took 2 hours and 38 minutes ------- The Mavesyn Ringers rand a Full Peal on Tuesday 11th November 2003 Bell Ringing / Tower enquiries -- Ken Rider 01889 584892 Our own team practice on Friday night and would welcome anyone
